The OpenBuildings product team is pleased to announce the availability of OpenBuildings Designer 2024 (24.00.00.72). This version incorporates several new productivity enhancements and user-requested fixes. It also includes updates from MicroStation 2024.

This release includes support for sixteen (16) regional datasets: Australia, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, ISO19650, Neutral Metric, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Swedish, United Kingdom, and United States (Imperial and Metric).This update does not include a Russian build and/or dataset. The Electrical tools and features are removed from the product to enhance security and streamline functionality. You can still access and edit the DG (Data Group) properties for the Electrical components created in the previous OpenBuildings versions of DGN files.

In the electrical tab under the Building System Design workflow, a new Information button is added. Clicking on this button an info message is shown in the message center.
